Swimming from the beach of Padang arrived at the spot, has large powerful waves suitable only for professional surfers reef funds make a fall can be very painful, so it is not a spot for beginners.

Impossible is a spot for professionals, Balangan is a perfect spot for beginners, left waves long distance leaving aside the reef. Also, there isn’t a spot as crowded when compared to Kuta and Uluwatu.

Kuta Reef, Airport left and right:

The large population on Kuta makes it not the best place in Bali for surfing since it is not a breath of peace that this sport transmits. Nevertheless, those who wish to start in the sport have the advantage that there are many surf schools, shops and apartments for rent in the area. The waves of Kuta Beach are feasible for beginners, if we go to the left and right spots from the airport, we engage the services of a boat to access them. It is important to remember that like any spot located in a big city, we can not leave it anywhere if we do not want them to disappear.

Medewi Beach

Medewi Beach is one of the ideal spots for beginners who are on the island of Bali, easy and accessible left on a beach full of restaurants, hotels, making all whole, a very relaxed atmosphere.

Wave left short path for experienced surfers who like to pipe, be careful because if you do not take precautions this spot can end our vacation.

Nusa Dua

Another beach for experienced surfers as the fund is also reef is shallow and therefore leads to large and powerful waves rights. One fine day the waves can reach fifty feet high. Some of the local fishermen offer us the possibility to spare of paddling for only $ 1.

Although we can find good quality waves throughout the year, as the prevailing winds on the island tend to be offshore, we can distinguish two seasons:

  • The winter season is usually dry from June to early September and the area where we find are best waves around the west coast of Kuta to Uluwatu with winds from the southeast.
